August/September sewing

I just wanted a place to chronicle my craft projects. I always forget the when and where of my projects.  You'll also find knitting and other craft projects here.  I'm not a photographer, but I do take pictures in my dimly lit house and yard
In August
3 Sweet Dresses from Sew Classic Clothes for Girls by Lindsay Wilkes

All 3 were made with fabric from Joann's.

R's overskirt is anAlexander Henry print

C'ss just a novelty cotton

A's is a Cloud 9 print(I think)

 

In September I made:

 

These next two collages are my entries in The Cottage Mama's sewing contest. The pattern is "The Shortcake Reversible Romper and Dress"

C's is made from flannel with kitties on it, lined with a polka dot cotton and I added a kitty pocket with faux fur. She loves it

  R's is made from Robert Kauffman herringbone chambray and lined with a vintage plaid shirting.  I made a button-on monogram with r's initial and heart buttons. Matching pants and dress are both trimmed with vintage polka dot ric rac layered under mini white ric rac.
